Price Set for SBC Members Only:
Get Griefy Magazine is a 100% free digital platform dedicated to helping normalize grief and loss across the globe in a way that is refreshingly honest, deeply relatable, and rooted in community.
We love amplifying the voices of our readers, and we’re excited to open submissions for Issue 8, which will feature contributions alongside Dr. Jessica Zucker of I Had a Miscarriage.
To submit, applicants are required to pay a small application fee. This fee helps compensate Get Griefy for the time and care it takes to thoughtfully review each submission and ensures that contributors are genuinely aligned with Get Griefy’s mission.
Payment does not guarantee acceptance into Issue 8. Selected pieces will be considered for print, and additional submissions may be chosen for digital publication on our website or Substack.
By submitting your work and application fee, you agree to grant Get Griefy Magazine permission to publish your contribution under your name.
Please note: Submissions do not need to be exclusive to Get Griefy. If your work has been previously published on your personal platform, that is absolutely acceptable.
Submission Guidelines
800–1,200 words
Non–sales-based content
Informative, thoughtful pieces that would resonate with and support our readers
We’re looking for work that reflects the heart of Get Griefy: honest conversations about grief, loss, and healing that help people feel less alone.
