Traumatic Grief Case Conceptualization: From Intake to Treatment

This 1.5-hour training is designed for therapists looking to enhance their ability to conceptualize grief in the therapeutic context, from intake to diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention. This training equips therapists with the knowledge and tools to recognize and treat traumatic grief, and when the experience of death and trauma intertwine, complicating the grieving process. Participants will examine the intersection between trauma and grief through the lens of assessment, diagnosis, and intervention. The session will provide clinicians with practical approaches for differentiating traumatic grief from PTSD and other trauma-related disorders, building safety and stabilization, and integrating trauma-resolution and grief-processing interventions.

Grievers move through the pain of loss with hope and help. Good Grief Day: Healing from Loss with Love

  • The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

If you’re grieving the loss of a loved one, you're not alone, but the path to healing can feel difficult to reach, much less follow.

This is why Dr. Laura Berman has put together this day of practical tools, togetherness, inspiration, and love. She has incredible teachers and healers joining her, including bestselling author Anita Moorjani, transformational speaker and spiritual guide Sah D’Simone, intuitive medicine healer Bryan Grijalva, and psychic medium Susan Grau, who will be doing readings for the audience and teaching us how to connect to the other side!

So, what's in store for you?

  • Heartfelt talks from our fantastic speakers

  • Mediumship session to connect with your loved ones on a deeper level

  • Gentle movement exercises to help you let go of emotional baggage

  • And most importantly, a warm and supportive community of people who understand what you're going through

Here's something truly special: all the proceeds from this event go to Parent Collective, a charity helping Grievers heal with scholarships to retreats and free events.

Your participation would truly make a huge difference in their lives.

Space is limited, so don't wait long.

This day of personal healing and communal support was designed with you in mind.

NOTE: This event will also be virtual, so if you can’t make it in person, you can join from anywhere!
